ABOUT BETH

A quiet practice, built on listening

I'm Beth — a holistic massage therapist based in Buxton . My work is shaped by years of training, a love of the outdoors, and the belief that bodies heal best when they feel safe.

Beth is warm, calm and genuinely cares. I always leave feeling completely at ease.

How I work

A whole-person approach

A holistic approach treats the whole person — body, mind and spirit — with all aspects of your energy considered, not the physical alone. Every one of my treatments works in this way, blending the techniques I've trained in over the years.

I listen to what you need, and assess what your body reveals to me as I work, so each session is something organic and comprehensive — not a fixed routine.

The story

Outdoors, water, and a Labrador called Leela

I'm strongly connected to nature and the outdoors. My free time is spent with my Labrador, Leela, exploring the beautiful Peak District, Buxton and the surrounding areas. I'm also a keen outdoor swimmer, and have found enormous benefit from being in the water — that grounded, sensitive quality is something I hope comes through in the treatments themselves.

My journey into holistic therapies began in 2010, when I qualified in City & Guilds Level 3 in Complementary & Alternative Therapies. From the very beginning I could see the huge benefits that massage brought to people — and I've kept learning ever since.

One of the best massages Ive ever had. Beth knew how to work out the knots in my tense back but also made the emassage so relaxing. Shes friendly, professional and the setting is lovely, central, quiet, easy to find and with lots of parking. If only I lived in Buxton!

LUSH. Beth managed to squeeze me into her schedule on the same day as enquiry. Listened to what I wanted / needed, really worked through some knots in my shoulder. Left feeling blissed-out. Highly recommend!

Beth has been doing mobile reflexology and massage at my home for several years. This means I can arrange a time that fits in with my working schedule. This is great because I can relax in the comfort of my own home. Beth brings her mobile bed and all the equipment she needs, including relaxing music. I work long hours…
